Hop Farm Festival

Friday night i get a call from an old friend saying she has a spare free ticket to the hop farm festival. Packing my sleeping bag and a rucsack full of beers we train up to the festival. What an amazing weekend i must say, Absolutely brilliant music constantly.

I felt i had to show people some of the bands that blew my socks off!

The tallest man on earth, a Swedish musician that sounds like a modern day Dylan.

Taj Mahal Trio, Taj Mahal is a living legend and it was amazing to see him play with such enthusiasm



To top all of the greatness i saw the might Bob Dylan play an hour and half set!

Late night photography

Recently i purchased the Cannon 550D, its a fantastic camera which i would recommend for photography and filming. With it i bought a Sigma 18-200mm lens which is one hell of a beast, i was recommended to get it from my friend David Bertie, if you'd like to see his stuff check it out at

Anyway i studied photography at College and loved every bit of it, but my speciality was always Low light photography, i have always loved the colours that artificial lights can create at night, whether it be cityscapes or coutnryside photography.

Tha Soul Circle

I approached the hip hop producer Scifi Stu last month when I heard he needed an artist to design some artwork for his new crew Tha Soul Circle. We decided to work designing an single cover for their first release The Look Back.

Busy Bunny

I have been really lazy with keeping this Blog up to date so I have decided to change things up a bit with the Blog, give it a slightly new look, as well as the image of this Blog I will also be updating the content with songs, photographs, illustrations... just about anything that interests me. Things have been going well for me, I have my fingers in many different pies right now, expanding my creative skills and talents but right now most of these projects will be kept secret until the time is right to show the world. Saying that I have a couple of projects that I am happy to tell you about, I have been helping a local businessman set up a local Cafe in Dunton Green called Bojangles Coffee House, he asked me to come in and brand the company as well as designing the interior for him.The cafe will all be finished by beginning of July with the interior fully finished, and so far its going to look like an amazing place. The doom collaberation went well and we finsihed of the piece about a month ago, but i have been too lazy to post things so here you finally go, this will be available as an A3 Print soon so people look out!

Im Back

Wow, it has been too long since i updated this. So lets get the ball rolling, ive been doing a fair bit of freelance work and now im working on a few of my own little projects. Ive been Collaborating with an artist named DOOM and soon will have a few pieces out for sale. This is a Work in progress but nearly there

Garmz

So ive been pretty busy at the moment, working partime behind the counter and trying to do a few bits and bobs. I cant talk about anything officially on here but ive got a very very cool project in the pipelines thats going to be pretty daymn fun. More on that another time though ;).

I finished a character for Garmz apparel a few days ago. this is the outcome. i don't really work in this style so it was nice and refreshing doing it.

Im Back

so im back from Chicago now, i had learnt a lot from this project, hopefully when its done i will post up the final result. But for now i need to find another job. Times are hard these days and right now i don't have the portfolio to get a job in the place i want so what im going to do is work on my showreel for a while. In the mean time i am going to be using my creative skills to get a job else where. Right now i have been given the opportunity to work for Bea couture, a Kent based bridal designer who needs to revamp her image.

Calabash studios

I have been in talks with a studio in chicago called Calabash Animation, they create Animated adverts for Products such as Luckycharms Cereal and Trix yogurt

This is one of their luck charm adverts to see what they produce


I managed to get work with them as a freelancer on their new project which is actually quite exciting. I cant tell you anything right now, but for my first working project its actually a pretty good piece to start on.

Living in america!

so i am messing around with some modelling lately, this is a house i have created in the style of one of Brittney lees illustrations. its not really finished or textured yet so still have a fair bit to do but once its done i think its going to look pretty dope!

Lonely

ok so this is a style that im trying to get right, its a Brittney lee style of painting. I love her style of painting. What i've tried to do here is to use the gradient tool to get a nice shade and blend of colours. today i think im going to model some stuff up! so probably more mosts later in the day! :) i should be starting work this week, so fingers crossed! once the job is 100% secure ill let you know what studio it is.

Stargate piece

its late, im tired. this is stargate.... the pyramid, but i thought having a solid black pyramid would look cooler. i am just trying to play with the brushes in photoshop, i havent painted for tiiiiiimeeeeeeee. hope your sleeping well. x

Stages

Things are really hectic for me at the moment, i have secured a freelance job in Chicago, so i am just finishing off the paperwork for that, but while im doing that i thought i would upload some photos. These are some photos of the original vine house piece. As you can see the pencil drawing was really different from the fine liner finish.
