Dove

I went to a local pub today and right outside was large dove house, ive never seen anything quite like it.
so i thought id do a little piece.

I had an urge to do a drawing with this pose today! the drawing is ok, but i think i ruined it with the background!!

Finished Genie

its been a busy day today! i managed to get this genie image done. I'm quite proud of it as one of my first character drawings. there are a few proportion problems but apart from that its looking cool.
I really want to work more on lighting characters and general scenes in illustration. I feel that it is the lighting that creates a magical feeling and thats all what I'm about.

Afro Queen

I actually managed to finish of one of my drawings! I really had problems getting the face looking right. The face needs to be the most defined part of my character, because thats where everyone looks instantly.
After looking at my previous version i actually prefer the face of her than this one!

i might try updating this one day, but for i now im going to move on!

This is an Experimental digital drawing ive done, its the first full digital piece i have ever done. I am actually quite happy with this! I have gone with using very few colours and just focusing on a style. With digital art you have so many tools at your fingertips its hard to focus on creating a style.

welcome to winter

Ok so the last post i did was a long time ago.Since then my animation has improved!!
As well as this i have managed to get a graphics tablet so i have been getting into my digital work.
This will be really helpful for me. i do draw a lot but i never really scan my work in so now i have a digital pen i can just sketch something quick and upload it.

Its my 3rd year in university so this will most probably be my last year in education. its time for me to face the real world. this means i will updating my blog alot more frequently from now on.
